Pell Grants
Martinez Adult Education, Business Training Center can assist eligible adult students with applications for financial assistance through federally sponsored PELL Grants. Eligible students in certificate programs can receive grants of $976-$5,350 for 2009-2010 to cover fees, books, and cost of living. CalWORKS
Martinez Adult Education, Business Training Center offers programs for CalWORKs students. Basic skills may be provided along with vocational training. Participants may be provided child care, books, and transportation. Contact your CalWORKs Case Manager.

Unemployment Benefits
Present recipients of Unemployment Benefits may arrange training plans through their local Employment Development Department.
